Who We Are
Bridging Resources In Communities (BRIC), Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the overall quality of life in communities most in need of a safe, healthy, violence free, prevention-focused environments.
What We Do
BRIC restores, strengthens and implements community mobilization and project development. BRIC connects professional resources to improve communities and reduce the needs of children and their families in the District of Columbia.
Who We serve
BRIC operates prevention centers in Wards 7 & 8 as well Drug-free coalitions in Wards 5 & 8. BRIC has provided education, leadership development and community change/action planning services to approximately over 5,000 youth and approximately over 4,500 adults.

DC PREVENTION CENTER FOR WARDS 7 & 8
The DC Prevention Center for Wards 7 & 8 (Wards 7 & 8 DCPC) is a collaborative venture with the DC Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) and Bridging Resources In Communities, Inc. (BRIC), the lead community based agency for this initiative – a truly innovative public-private partnership.
WARD 5 DRUG-FREE COALITION
Ward 5 Coalition Sector Members and Partners actively engages to develop and implement strategies and events that promote healthy, drug-free life style choices for youth and their families. Ward 5 Drug Free Coalition educates youth and their families about the dangers of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs in order to make healthy lifestyle choices.
